FOR ADOPTIVE MOTHERS EXHAUSTED BY MELTDOWNS AND DAILY BATTLES
How to Finally Handle Your Child’s Biggest Behaviors Without Losing Yourself
What if you’re simply missing what no one ever taught you? Those big reactions often begin with a child who doesn’t feel safe in that moment. And that sense of safety starts with the parent.
Building your own emotional safety is the most powerful way to help your child through their hardest moments, without burning yourself out.
What You’ll Discover inside
The Adoptive Mother Reset
Most trauma-informed parenting focuses on your child's behavior first. The Adoptive Mother Reset starts with you. Because the more emotional safety you build within yourself, the more safety and connection you can offer your child.
This 10-week coaching journey combines the Anchoring Parenting method with short, practical practices, simple tools you can use straight away, weekly live coaching with me, and a supportive community of adoptive mothers.
✓ Break the reaction cycles shaping your home
You’ll recognize the fears, expectations and old patterns driving your reactions, so they stop taking over and you get more control over how you respond in crisis.
✓ Restore your energy without adding a long routine
You’ll build simple, short mindfulness and self-regulation practices into your day that support your body, mind and emotional life, day after day.
✓ Protect your connection during big behaviors
You'll see intense meltdowns through a trauma-informed lens so you stop taking pushback personally and address what your child needs underneath.
✓ Handle the hardest moments with a clear 5-step plan
You’ll follow a 5-step plan for big behaviours and use practical tools for bedtime, school struggles, transitions, screens, sibling fights and the teen years, so your home feels less like a battlefield and more like a family.
Nice to meet you, I'm Florence Minas
ADOPTIVE MOTHER · SYSTEMIC COACH · MSC. ORG. PSYCHOLOGY
Twenty years ago, I adopted one of my two children from Colombia. I have been through the meltdowns, the exhaustion, and the moments when nothing seemed to work.
My biggest mistake? I tried to fix the behavior instead of understanding what was driving it, in my child AND in myself.
My mindfulness practice became a turning point. The more anchored I felt within myself, the more I saw the difference it made to my children.
That is why I created Anchoring Parenting, a trauma-sensitive coaching experience that starts with the parent, not the child.
I want to give you what I wish someone had given me much earlier.
